    Biography

    Kristof Van Tomme is one of the two founders of Pronovix. He's got a degree in Bio-engineering and made his first Drupal site in the tech transfer office of Szeged, Hungary. Kristof started an introductory Drupal course at the University of Szeged and was initiator and co-lead for Drupalcon Szeged in 2008. As a permanent member of the Drupal Association Kristof is the lead of the selection task force for European Drupalcons.

    Biography

    Laura Vass is one of the two co-founders of Pronovix. As the CEO of the Hungarian company Laura is responsible for financials and legal housekeeping. In the past two years Laura did a lot of scientific translations from English to Hungarian of patents in chemistry and life sciences. She has a masters degree in chemistry (2005) and is currently working on her PhD in functional genomics. From the beginning of 2009 Laura and Kristof will be setting up the second Pronovix office in Belgium, and familiarize themselves with parenthood.

    Biography

    Kornél Lugosi was born in Kecskemét, Hungary. At an early age he got interested in computers and thought himself programming. When he later installed a Debian sarge on his machine, he fell in love, and never booted Windows again. When he started studying computer science at the University of Szeged, it was not a big surprise. Since June 2008, he has been happily casting PHP and JQuery code as a Drupal developer at Pronovix. Since then he has been giving several JQuery and Drupal presentations. Outside of Drupal and Linux he likes to play with other Open-Source projects, Java and C/C++. Online Kornél is also known as Coornail.

    Biography

    Tamás Demeter thought himself programming with some old Visual Basic books, but switched relatively quickly to PHP. Currently, he is studying software engineering at the University of Szeged. In addition to PHP and Drupal he is interested in high level database design, Java and Qt technologies. He is an active contributor to open source projects: as Yorirou he helps beginners on the Hungarian Linux-related forums and has submitted numerous bugs for different projects. He joined the Pronovix team in September 2008.

    Biography

    Péter Arató graduated from University as an IT teacher in 2007. No wonder, cause he's crazy about IT. After learning multimedia and flash he started writing small games. After hundreds of games he expanded into html, javascript, java, c#, php and just a little bit of ruby on rails (for fun). Getting unix systems to work on his laptop is one of the things he's been spending way too much time on, but he never gives up. He's intrigued by large IT systems. In his free time he likes developing small applications and listening to loud classical music. His biggest problem is the lack of embedded pc's for bikes. Online he's also know as itarato.

When you work for us you'll be enabled/encouraged to attend Drupal conferences and meetups not just as an attendee but also as a presenter. We encourage contributions to the community also in other forms, such as module contributions, tutorials and demo's,... We would love to help you to become a drupal rockstar!

At Pronovix co-workers from a range of backgrounds and nationalities work together in English. Throughout the year we try to have 1 or 2 non-Hungarian interns in our company, this keeps our language skills fresh and often leads to new ideas and insights.

Traineeships

Pronovix is recruiting trainees for medium to long term internships. We can also broker traineeships in some of the biotech companies in the Szeged region. Our main office is located in Szeged, a beautiful university town in Southern Hungary.
