Internal developers portals in enterprise companies play a crucial role in API driven innovation and change management initiatives. While there are some best practices that can be copied from external facing “developer marketing” portals, they have different objectives: Shifting the focus from developer acquisition to developer engagement, making developer experience even more important.
In this talk I want to share the insights we gained building this kind of developer portals. Explain how developer experience, upstream DX, and gamification can become tools for internal developer advocates.
