Pronovix Workflow Lab for AI-Native Documentation and Solution Discovery

Designed for decision-makers responsible for API products, developer portals, solution discovery, or AI transformation initiatives

Applied AI-native workflows for API documentation, developer portals, and solution discovery

AI-native workflows are a redesign of documentation processes around the complementary capabilities of AI systems and human experts.

This includes practices for:

  • improving API documentation quality,
  • increasing API discoverability in AI search and agent-driven environments,
  • designing documentation workflows that help technical and solution knowledge remain accurate, maintainable, and discoverable throughout its lifecycle.

Our work in this area builds on what we know best: API documentation, developer portals, and the emerging challenges of solution discovery.

In recent client work, we have seen that building better portals and better documentation interfaces remains important for both humans and machines. Much also depends on the workflows behind them: how knowledge is captured at the right moment, maintained with sufficient care, and kept usable.

The Workflow Lab applies these observations in practice. Each engagement starts from a concrete problem and helps teams make meaningful progress in both understanding and implementation.

NEW Competitive API Capability Benchmark

Compare how your API capabilities appear in AI-generated answers, how they connect to your business solutions, and how you perform against relevant competitors.

We select a small number of API capabilities that matter to the business and compare them with 3–9 relevant competitors.

  • Compare your AI Share of Voice. See how selected API capabilities appear in AI-generated answers, how often the company is recommended, and how that compares with relevant competitors.
  • Connect business solutions to APIs. Compare what the marketing website says the business offers with what can be found through the public developer documentation, including missing connections between business solutions, API capabilities and API assets.
  • Assess AI visibility in the developer portal. See whether AI systems can access, interpret and work with the information in the developer portal, and identify conditions that may affect this.

The team receives the findings, competitor analysis, prioritized recommendations and the evidence behind them. We review the analysis with the relevant stakeholders before finalizing the recommendations.

The assessment costs €10k. If the team needs to make a case for developer portal investment, the findings also give them external evidence on business-relevant API capabilities and competitors to bring into that conversation.
