Holon Search

Empathy Platform Docs approached the search feature differently to create more than just a conventional search.

• Holon Search: Vector and Keyword search is an explainable, privacy-minded & extensible solution you can own and control.
• The holon is a representation of complexity: it incorporates multiple parts, and yet represents the whole is greater than the sum of its constituent parts.
• The most relevant result doesn’t have to be the first, and it can have a different shape, motion, and different relationships.
• The search results set is not just a flat land, not a dumped out array or a list, which is a reflection of a computing mind.

Embracing new ideas to represent vectors, and the relevance with the depth and the complexity of their relationships between concepts is a key differentiator in Empathy’s Holon Search.
